Ingredients
  

  • 2 sticks butter at room temperature
  • 8 to 16 smoked garlic cloves (link to recipe in post above)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves or chopped chives
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tsps lemon zest
  • kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Put the butter into a food processor.
  • Add the smoked garlic cloves, thyme or chives, lemon juice, lemon zest, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Blend until smooth. Store the butter in a covered container in the refrigerator for a few days. Serve on grilled steak, potatoes, bread, and/or toss with pasta.
