Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 pounds steak of choice (I used New York strip)
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce (I used Kikkoman with no high fructose corn syrup)
  • 1 Tbsp garlic paste or minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp ginger paste or minced ginger
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • Optional: sesame seeds, cilantro, yum yum sauce

Instructions
 

  • Cut the steak into 1 inch cubes and place in a gallon size plastic bag. Add the teriyaki sauce, garlic, ginger, kosher salt, and pepper. Massage the bag until evenly combined and refrigerate overnight.
  • Preheat the griddle to medium high heat for several minutes. Add some vegetable oil and the steak bites. Cook 5 to 8 minutes, tossing a few times with hibachi spatulas.
  • Serve with sesame seeds and cilantro for garnish and yum yum sauce for dipping if desired.
