Equipment

  • Traeger/Pellet Grill
  • Smoker

Ingredients

  • 1 package slider buns (I used King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, 12 came in a package)
  • 8 slices provolone cheese
  • 4 to 5 cups leftover pulled pork (link to recipe in post above)
  • BBQ sauce (amount depends on how saucy you prefer)
  • Optional: sliced pickled jalapenos

Instructions

  • Cut the slider buns if needed, separating the top and bottom buns and place them on a baking sheet.
Note: I had the best luck with a serrated bread knife.
  • Place four slices of the cheese on the bottom buns, overlapping slightly.
  • Toss the pulled pork with BBQ sauce and arrange the pulled pork in a single layer on the bottom buns.
Note: Warming the pork first will help when mixing with the BBQ sauce.
  • Place the remaining four cheese slices over the pork and add the top buns.
  • Set your Traeger/ pellet grill or smoker to 250 degrees. Put the tray with the slider buns on the grill grate for 40 to 50 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the pork is warmed through.
  • Cut the sliders and serve with pickled jalapenos if desired.
