Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds steak (sirloin, strip steak, or flatiron)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 packet fajita seasoning (or homemade fajita seasoning)
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 yellow bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 4 to 6 kabob skewers (if wooden, soak in water for several hours)

Instructions
 

  • Cut the steak into inch size cubes and place in a gallon size plastic bag.
  • In a bowl mix together the olive oil, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, fajita seasoning, kosher salt, and pepper. Save a few spoonfuls of this mixture for the veggies and pour the rest into the bag with the steak.
  • Massage the bag until the steak is evenly coated and marinate in the refrigerator for several hours.
  • Peel the onion and remove the seeds and stems from the peppers. Then cut the onion and peppers into 1 inch pieces (similar in size to the steak). Toss the marinade that was set aside earlier with the onions and peppers.
  • Assemble the kabobs by alternating steak, onions, and peppers. Pour any extra marinade over top and season with kosher salt and pepper.
  • Preheat your grill to medium high for several minutes. Grill the steak kabobs 7 to 10 minutes total, flipping and turning several times.
