Blackstone Griddle
Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
- cooking oil of choice
- 1 pound gold or redskin potatoes cut into bite size pieces
- kosher salt, pepper, burger seasoning or all-purpose seasoning (I used both Blackstone Whiskey Burger blend and All-Purpose blend)
- 1 pound ground beef
- burger sauce (homemade or store bought, I used Kinder's Burger Sauce)
- 2 cups shredded cheese of choice
- Toppings of choice: lettuce, pickle, more burger sauce, tomato, onion, etc.
Preheat your griddle to medium. Add some cooking oil to one side of griddle along with the potatoes, kosher salt, pepper, and burger or all-purpose seasoning. Mix with spatulas, add some water, and cover with a melting dome.
Let the potatoes cook under the dome for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove the dome a few times to mix with spatulas, and add more water each time before covering again.
Add ground beef to other side of griddle, season with kosher salt, pepper, and burger or all-purpose seasoning. Mix with spatulas and break apart the meat as it cooks for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove melting dome from potatoes.
Mix the ground beef and potatoes together on the griddle for 1 to 2 minutes. Add some burger sauce and half of the cheese, mix to combine.
Once potatoes and beef are cooked how you prefer, serve in bowls with remaining cheese sprinkled over top with toppings of choice such as lettuce, pickle, more burger sauce, tomato, onion, etc.
