Blackstone Griddle
Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
- 1 pound green beans
- 2 to 4 sirloin steaks depending on size (or any cut of steak you prefer)
- kosher salt, pepper, steak seasoning blend (optional)
- cooking oil of choice
- 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic
- 4 tablespoons butter
Trim the ends from the green beans and cut the larger ones in half. Season the steaks with kosher salt, pepper, and steak seasoning if using, on both sides.
Preheat the griddle to medium heat for a few minutes. Add some cooking oil of choice, the green bens, kosher salt, pepper, and steak seasoning if using. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, flipping and mixing a few times.Note: If you have a melting dome, use it to steam the green beans and speed up the cooking a bit. Add a little more cooking oil to an empty side of the griddle and the seasoned steaks. Add the tomatoes and garlic to the green beans. Continue cooking for 6 to 8 more minutes. Flip the steaks halfway through and mix the green beans and tomatoes a few times.Note: Depending on the steak thickness, medium rare should be 3 minutes per side and 4 minutes per side for medium. Add the butter to both the green beans and top the steaks with a little pat of butter during the last minute.
