Ingredients

garlic paste or minced garlic
kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice (cajun seasoning, Old Bay, BBQ seasoning, or seasoning blend of choice)
Instructions
Trim the ends off the green beans and cut in half or thirds. Put them in a cast iron skillet or foil pan with the bacon if using.
Add the onion, butter, water, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend of choice.
Set the smoker or pellet grill to 250 degrees. Put the pan of green beans on the grate for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, stirring a few times throughout.
