14 to 16ounce loafbakery bread (Italian or French)cut into small cubes
1tablespoondried sage
1/2tablespoondried thyme
1/2tablespoondried parsley
kosher salt, pepper
4tablespoonsbutter
1cupdried cranberries
114 ounce canturkey or chicken broth
1egg
Optional: spoonful of turkey or chicken base (I used Better than Bouillon)
Instructions
Preheat the griddle to medium heat for a few minutes. Add some cooking oil and the diced onions and celery. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, mixing with hibachi spatulas.
Add the sausage and cook on the griddle 5 to 6 minutes, mixing with the onions and celery.
Add the bread cubes, sage, thyme, parsley, kosher salt, pepper, and butter. Mix everything together with hibachi spatulas and cook 2 to 3 more minutes. Remove and place in a large bowl.
To the bowl add the cranberries, broth, egg, and turkey or chicken base if using. Mix together very well and put in a 9x13 casserole dish.
