Blackstone Griddle
Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
- cooking oil of choice
- 1 onion diced
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 to 2 carrots shredded
- 1 pound ground pork
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons gochujang chili paste (Asian section of grocery store or Amazon)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste or grated ginger (optional)
- 3 to 4 sliced green onions
- 4 cups cooked Jasmine rice (I used the microwave rice pouches)
- spicy mayo or yum yum sauce to drizzle over top
Preheat the griddle to medium heat for a few minutes. Add some cooking oil along with the diced onion, bell pepper, and carrots. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, mixing with hibachi spatulas.
Add the ground pork, soy sauce, gochujang, honey, garlic, ginger (if using), and green onions. Cook 7 to 8 minutes, mixing together and combining with hibachi spatulas. Use the spatulas to break apart the ground pork as it cooks.
Serve over the rice with spicy mayo or yum yum sauce drizzled over top.
