Equipment

  • Blackstone Griddle
  • Flat Top Grill/ Griddle

Ingredients

  • cooking oil of choice
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
  • 1 cup thin sliced or shredded carrots
  • 1 8 ounce container sliced mushrooms
  • kosher salt, pepper
  • 1 24 ounce package frozen potstickers (chicken, pork, shrimp, or veggie) thawed
  • 1 bunch green onions cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 5 to 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger (optional)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce or Bachan's Japanese BBQ Sauce (don't worry it's NOT like regular BBQ sauce)
  • Optional: sesame seeds, sriracha, yum yum sauce

Instructions

  • Prepare all of your ingredients, put them on a tray to easily carry outside to the griddle and preheat it to medium heat for a few minutes.
  • Add some cooking oil to the griddle and add the sliced peppers, carrots, mushrooms, kosher salt, and pepper to one side of the griddle. Put the potstickers on the other side.
  • Squirt some water on the potstickers and cover them with a melting dome for 4 to 5 minutes, flip halfway through and add more water before covering again. Mix and flip the veggies a few times with hibachi spatulas as well.
  • Set the melting dome aside, add the green onions, garlic, and ginger (if using) plus more oil if needed and gently mix everything together on the griddle for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the soy sauce, hoisin or Japanese BBQ sauce, the packet of sauce from the potsticker bag and cook 1 to 2 minutes, mixing everything together. Top with sesame seeds, sriracha, and/or yum yum sauce if desired.
