Blackstone Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Blackstone Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus is a griddle side dish recipe on the fancy side, but so easy and with only a few ingredients!

  • Blackstone Griddle
  • Flat Top Grill/ Griddle

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound asparagus (thinner asparagus works best) bottom 2 inches trimmed
  • olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice (I used Kinder's Garlic and Herb)
  • 8 slices prosciutto

Instructions
 

  • Put the asparagus in a bowl and drizzle some olive oil over top. Toss to evenly coat the asparagus.
  • Season with kosher salt, pepper, and a seasoning blend of choice and toss again to evenly coat the asparagus.
  • Place a slice of prosciutto flat, place 4 to 5 spears of asparagus on the prosciutto, and roll, overlapping slightly. Repeat making remaining asparagus bundles.
  • Preheat griddle to medium. Add olive oil (or cooking oil of choice) and place the asparagus bundles using tongs. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, flipping and turning a few times with tongs.
    Note: Cook seasoned salmon, mahi mahi, or chicken breasts on the griddle at the same time as they will be ready at the same time as the asparagus.
