
Blackstone Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Simple side dish recipes for the griddle are the way to go, like these Blackstone Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus Bundles!
I made some seasoned mahi-mahi on the griddle at the same time for a complete, easy, and healthy meal.
Both the asparagus and the fish are cooked over medium heat, and both for 8 to 10 minutes.
Seasoned chicken breasts or salmon also have the same cook time and temperature

How to make Blackstone Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
First trim a pound of asparagus, just about 2 inches off the bottom to remove the tougher ends.
Thinner asparagus works best for this.
Drizzle some olive oil and season with kosher salt, pepper, and a seasoning blend of choice, then toss until evenly coated.
I went with Kinder’s Garlic and Herb seasoning blend.
And roll about 4 to 5 spears in each slice of prosciutto, overlapping slightly.

Then preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium heat.
Add more olive oil, or any cooking oil that you prefer, and place them on the griddle using tongs.

I added my mahi-mahi at the same time on the other side of the griddle.

Just turn them with the tongs a few times for 8 to 10 minutes.

The asparagus will cook perfectly while the prosciutto becomes slightly crisp.

Blackstone Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus
Equipment
- Blackstone Griddle
- Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
Ingredients
- 1 pound asparagus (thinner asparagus works best) bottom 2 inches trimmed
- olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice (I used Kinder's Garlic and Herb)
- 8 slices prosciutto
Instructions
- Put the asparagus in a bowl and drizzle some olive oil over top. Toss to evenly coat the asparagus.
- Season with kosher salt, pepper, and a seasoning blend of choice and toss again to evenly coat the asparagus.
- Place a slice of prosciutto flat, place 4 to 5 spears of asparagus on the prosciutto, and roll, overlapping slightly. Repeat making remaining asparagus bundles.
- Preheat griddle to medium. Add olive oil (or cooking oil of choice) and place the asparagus bundles using tongs. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, flipping and turning a few times with tongs.Note: Cook seasoned salmon, mahi mahi, or chicken breasts on the griddle at the same time as they will be ready at the same time as the asparagus.
