Equipment

  • Blackstone Griddle
  • Flat Top Grill/ Griddle

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) bag frozen french fries of choice (I used waffle fries)
  • cooking oil of choice
  • 6 hot dogs diced
  • chili powder
  • 1 (15-ounce) can Skyline Chili (or leftover homemade chili)
  • Optional: yellow mustard, hot sauce, diced onions
  • 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Cook the fries according to the package directions in the oven or air fryer. Or you can make them on the griddle over medium heat with a little cooking oil, lay them in a single layer and cook until crisp, flipping a few times. Scoot to edge of griddle to keep them warm.
  • With the griddle over medium heat, add cooking oil of choice, the hot dogs, and chili powder. Cook 6 to 8 minutes, mixing a few times. Pour the chili in a small foil pan or saucepan to warm it up on the griddle.
  • Place the fries on a baking sheet or in a lined basket. Top with half of the cheese, the chili, hot dogs, and optional ingredients such as yellow mustard, hot sauce, and diced onions. Top with remaining cheese. Serve right away.
