Blackstone Griddle
Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
- cooking oil of choice
- 1 pound thin cut strip steaks (mine were 1/4 inch thick)
- kosher salt, pepper
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons Blackstone Cheesesteak seasoning blend (or burger, all-purpose, or steak seasoning blend of choice)
- 6 slices American cheese
- 2 sub rolls
- 3 tablespoons spicy mustard (or sauce of choice such as mayo or horseradish sauce)
Preheat griddle to medium. Add cooking oil of choice and the steaks, season steaks with kosher salt and pepper. Cook 1 to 2 minutes per side.
Use a griddle scraper and your spatulas to break/pull apart and chop the steaks on the Blackstone. Add Worcestershire and Cheesesteak seasoning. Cook 1 minute, mixing with spatulas.
Lay cheese slices over the steak and place the buns, cut side down on the griddle to toast them. Mix the cheese and steak together with spatulas until cheese is melted and evenly combined. Remove buns once toasted how you prefer.
Add mustard or sauce of choice to bottom bun and pile on the steak and cheese, add top bun and serve.
