Blackstone Griddle
Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
- cooking oil of choice
- 1 pint grape or cherry tomatoes
- kosher salt pepper
- 1 (12-ounce) steak of choice (I used strip steak)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning blend
- balsamic glaze (vinegar section of grocery store or Amazon)
- 12 slices French baguette
- 6 ounces burrata cheese
- fresh chopped basil
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium. Add cooking oil of choice, tomatoes, kosher salt, and pepper. Cook 5 minutes, mixing a few times.
Season steak on both sides with kosher salt and pepper. Add more cooking oil to griddle and the steak.
Cook the steak 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium rare/ medium. Continue mixing tomatoes.
Remove steak to rest before slicing, add Italian seasoning and some balsamic glaze to tomatoes and let cook 1 more minute. Add more cooking oil to empty space on griddle and add the baguette slices, season with kosher salt and pepper, and toast on both sides to your liking.
Slice the steak into 12 slices. Assemble crostini by tearing the burrata cheese and adding to each toasted bread slice. Top with steak, tomatoes, a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and fresh basil.
