- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs (or breasts)
- 3 tablespoons Bachan's Japanese BBQ sauce (or you can use hoisin sauce)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha
- 4 to 5 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tablespoon grated ginger (optional)
- kosher salt, pepper
- Optional: sesame seeds, green onions, more Japanese BBQ sauce, yum yum sauce
Put the chicken in a gallon size plastic bag and add the Japanese BBQ sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, ginger (if using), kosher salt, and pepper. Massage the bag until combined and marinate in the fridge for a few hours.
Preheat your grill to medium heat for a few minutes. Grill the chicken 10 to 12 minutes total, flipping a few times. The internal temperature should be above 165 degrees.
Serve with sesame seeds, green onions, more Japanese BBQ sauce, and/or yum yum sauce if desired.
