olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice (I used a mix of steak seasoning blend and Old Bay)
1cupbuffalo wing sauce
1/4cuphoney
1tablespoonsoy sauce
1tablespoonlemon juice
Optional: ranch dressing for dipping
Instructions
Pat the wings dry with paper towels and place in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and season well with kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend of choice. Toss until evenly coated.
Set the Traeger pellet grill or smoker to 250 degrees. Place the wings on the grill grate for 2 1/2 hours, flipping halfway through.
While the wings smoke, make the honey buffalo sauce. Set a small saucepan over high heat on the stove and add the buffalo sauce, honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil for a minute and remove from heat, stirring a few times. Set aside.
Brush the wings on all sides with the honey buffalo sauce during the last half hour on the smoker. Serve with the remaining honey buffalo sauce and ranch for dipping if desired.Note: Make sure the internal temperature of the wings is above 165 degrees before serving.
