Instructions
Put the blocks of cream cheese on a plate. Cut diagonal lines about half inch deep (picture example in post above). Place the plate on a smoker or pellet grill set to 180 degrees for 2 hours.
Put the cranberries, water, vodka, sugar, and lime juice in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over high heat, once boiling reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 15 to 17 minutes stirring a few times. Let cool.
Serve the cranberry sauce over the smoked cream cheese either warm or at room temperature. Garnish with fresh thyme and with crackers or pretzel crisps.
