Blackstone Maple Mustard Chicken Sausage
Blackstone Maple Mustard Chicken Sausage with Sweet Potatoes and Apples is a complete fall dinner recipe for the griddle.
Super flavorful, easy to make, and pretty healthy too… so this one checks all the boxes of the perfect meal in my opinion.

How to make Blackstone Maple Mustard Chicken Sausage with Sweet Potatoes and Apples
The sauce for this dish is a mixture of pure maple syrup and Dijon mustard.

Simply whisk together with kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, and fresh thyme.

Next, preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium.
Add cooking oil, a diced sweet potato, kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice, and squirt some water over top.
Cover with a melting dome or griddle lid for 8 to 9 minutes.
Remove the dome a few times to mix the sweet potatoes with spatulas, and be sure to add more water before covering again.

During the last two minutes, add some cooking oil and a diced red onion to an empty space on the griddle.
Set your melting dome aside and mix together the onions and sweet potatoes on the griddle with spatulas.
Then add sliced chicken sausage, a diced Honeycrisp apple, plus more kosher salt, pepper, and seasoning blend of choice.

Cook 5 to 6 minutes, mixing a few times.

Finally add the maple mustard sauce.

And cook on the griddle for about 2 more minutes.

Blackstone Maple Mustard Chicken Sausage with Sweet Potatoes and Apples is sooooo good, a definite must-try griddle meal!
