Blackstone BBQ Whiskey Bacon Slotdogs
Hot dogs on the griddle may seem like a boring dinner idea, but that’s only because you’ve never had Blackstone BBQ Whiskey Bacon Slotdogs!!
You can get your Slotdog on Amazon or use a knife to make your own diagonal slits.
And for the whiskey, use your favorite.
Or check out this insanely delicious Kurvball BBQ Whiskey (which tastes and smells like smokey BBQ).

How to make Blackstone BBQ Whiskey Bacon Slotdogs
First, use your Slotdog to make the criss crosses that not only crisp to perfection on the griddle, they allow soooo much more room for seasoning.

Preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium heat and start with bacon that has been cut into bite size pieces.
Once the bacon is juuuuuust about done, add your whiskey and BBQ seasoning blend.

Scoot the bacon to the edge of the griddle and add those Slotdogs right in the bacon grease, plus more BBQ seasoning.
I also used the Sweet and Sticky seasoning from Girls Gone Grilling.

Cook them, flipping with tongs a few times, until they are the way you like them.

I also toasted my Brioche hot dog buns on the griddle.

Add sauces of choice to your Blackstone BBQ Whiskey Bacon Slotdogs 🙂
Hot dog in the bun first, pile on that BBQ whiskey bacon, then I added spicy mayo, hot honey, and BBQ sauce!!
