Blackstone Caramelized Onions and Bacon
I do some Blackstone meal prep series once in awhile, and this one is certainly not the healthy kind of meal prep but more of the “work smarter not harder” kind… I have lots of yummy plans for these Blackstone Caramelized Onions and Bacon!
See below for the delicious meals that I created with these caramelized onions and bacon that were already done for me, making dinner time easy peasy.

How to make Blackstone Caramelized Onions and Bacon
Start with your Blackstone or flat top griddle on medium-low heat.
Add some cooking oil of choice and 4 to 5 yellow onions that have been thinly and evenly sliced, then season with kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
And cut some bacon with kitchen scissors on the other side of the griddle.

Low and slow is the name of this game!
It does take some time but wellllll worth the effort.

I just hung out and tossed them every few minutes.
Toward the end add some butter, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar to the onions.

Pack your Blackstone Caramelized Onions and Bacon in containers to use throughout the week in several recipes!
