Blackstone Lemon Pesto Surf and Turf Alfredo
If steak and shrimp on the griddle with pasta in a creamy, luscious sauce sounds good, you’re gonna LOVE this dinner recipe for Blackstone Lemon Pesto Surf and Turf Alfredo!
I did take some help with a jar of alfredo sauce, but make your own if you prefer.
In my mind, the homemade pesto cancelled out the laziness of using the jarred sauce 😉

How to make Blackstone Lemon Pesto Surf and Turf Alfredo
Start with your Blackstone or flat top griddle over medium heat.
Add cooking oil of choice along with a half pound each of diced steak and shrimp.

Season with kosher salt and pepper, and cook on the flat top griddle for about 4 minutes.

Then add 3/4 pound of cooked fettuccine pasta.
I boiled it and then rinsed with cold water earlier.
It will need a squirt of water once it hits the griddle to kind of unstick itself, though.

Then add your alfredo sauce, store-bought or homemade.

A little pesto, Italian seasoning, plus more kosher salt and pepper join the party.

Then simply mix it around on the griddle for 3 to 4 minutes.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over top right before serving.

As you can imagine, not one dinner complaint was had with Blackstone Lemon Pesto Surf and Turf Alfredo 🙂

Blackstone Lemon Pesto Surf and Turf Alfredo
Equipment
- Blackstone Griddle
- Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
Ingredients
- cooking oil of choice
- 1/2 pound sirloin steak cut into bite size pieces
- 1/2 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined cut into bite size pieces
- kosher salt, pepper
- 3/4 pound cooked fettuccine pasta rinsed with cold water after cooking
- 1 (12-ounce) jar alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup pesto
- Italian seasoning
- 1 lemon cut into wedges
Instructions
- Preheat your griddle to medium. Add cooking oil of choice, steak, and shrimp. Season with kosher salt and pepper. Cook about 4 minutes, mixing a few times with spatulas.
- Add the pasta with a squirt of water to help prevent sticking. Use spatulas to mix it around for a minute, add more water if needed.
- Add alfredo sauce, pesto, Italian seasoning, plus more kosher salt and pepper. Use spatulas to combine everything on the griddle, pasta may stick at first but just keep mixing for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Squeeze half of the lemon over top during the last minute and mix together. Serve with remaining lemon wedges on the side.
