Blackstone Smashed Big Boy Tacos
Smashed tacos on the griddle are always a favorite recipe with my family, this time around I made a burger version… Blackstone Smashed Big Boy Tacos!
A Big Boy is a classic burger at Frisch’s restaurants, and it has shredded lettuce, pickles, American cheese, and tartar sauce.
If you absolutely LOVE burgers, you need to check out Cooking with the Crazy Pop, his burger creations wow me every time!!

How to make Blackstone Smashed Big Boy Tacos
First season a pound of ground beef with kosher salt, pepper, and a burger seasoning blend if you have one.
I love this Blackstone Whiskey Burger Seasoning.

Then roll the ground beef into 8 balls.
Place them on a tray along with the rest of the smashed taco ingredients.
I have 8 soft taco size tortillas, chopped pickled, American cheese, tartar sauce, and shredded lettuce.

Preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium heat, add some cooking oil of choice, and place the ground beef balls a few inches apart.

Leave just enough space for the tortillas.

Place the soft tortillas over top of each.

And use a burger press to flatten them.
I like to press and give a slight twist.

Let these cook for just about 4 minutes.

Then flip them using a griddle spatula.
And place a slice of cheese onto each burger.

Top each with tartar sauce, shredded lettuce, and pickles.
We prefer our tortillas to be extra crispy, but really you can remove them once the tortillas are crisped to your liking.

Blackstone Smashed Big Boy Tacos are super easy and the whole fam absolutely LOVED them 🙂
