Blackstone Beef Stew Stir Fry
Blackstone Beef Stew Stir Fry was the genius recipe idea of my husband!
He loves to eat my recipe creations, but rarely does he actually come up with creative, tasty dinner ideas like this one.
Basically we attempted to create the slow cooked, rich flavor of beef stew on the griddle as a quick cooking stir fry!

How to make Blackstone Beef Stew Stir Fry
First, preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium heat.
Add some cooking oil of choice, 1 1/2 pounds of diced gold potatoes, kosher salt, pepper, and an all purpose seasoning blend of choice.
Squirt some water on the potatoes and cover them with a melting dome for about 6 to 7 minutes.
And remove the dome a few times to mix with spatulas and add more water before covering again.

While the potatoes are still covered, add more cooking oil to an empty space on your griddle and add some diced onions and carrots.
Cook everything for 3 to 4 minutes, mixing the onions and carrots a few times and continue to remove the dome from your potatoes to mix them and add a little more water before covering again.

Set your melting dome aside and mix the onions, carrots, and potatoes together for just about a minute.
Add 2 pounds of diced sirloin steak, minced garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and more all-purpose seasoning blend.
Cook this together for 3 to 4 minutes, mixing a few times with spatulas.

While everything is cooking on the griddle we will make the sauce for this dish.

Simply whisk heavy cream, tomato paste, red wine (optional), Worcestershire sauce, a beef gravy packet, dried thyme, kosher salt, pepper, and all purpose seasoning blend together in a large bowl.

Add some frozen peas and the sauce, cook 2 to 3 more minutes on the griddle, mixing it all together.

And don’t worry… the sauce will thicken as it cooks.
Taste for seasoning and add more kosher salt, pepper, and/or all purpose seasoning if needed.

Blackstone Beef Stew Stir Fry had all the slow cooked flavor of traditional beef stew!

Had to compliment my husband on coming up with such a flavorful and comforting dinner idea on the griddle.
