How to make Blackstone Hot Honey Buffalo Shrimp Tortellini

Start with your Blackstone or flat top griddle over medium heat.

Add some cooking oil of choice or butter along with a 20-ounce package of cheese tortellini.

Squirt some water and cover with a melting dome for 5 minutes.

Remove the dome a few times and mix with spatulas, plus add more water before covering again.

Set your melting dome aside.

Add more butter to empty space on your griddle.

Once melted add a pound of shrimp and season both the shrimp and tortellini with kosher salt, pepper, and any seasoning blends that you love.

I used three… my Blackstone all-purpose seasoning, parmesan ranch, and honey jalapeno.

adding shrimp and seasonings

As the shrimp and tortellini cooked on the griddle I sliced a lemon, because it’s the secret part of this dish 😉

I did not measure for this dish, so measure the sauces with your heart’s desire.

I also added some brown sugar just because it was one of our secret challenge ingredients.

We drizzled hot honey, buffalo, and ranch dressing and mixed this all together.

And squeezed the lemon over top right before serving.

Equipment

  • Blackstone Griddle
  • Flat Top Grill/ Griddle

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (20-ounce) package cheese tortellini uncooked, thawed
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp peeled and deveined
  • kosher salt, pepper, seasoning blend of choice (I used Blackstone All-Purpose, Honey Jalapeno, and Parmesan Ranch seasonings)
  • hot honey, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing (to taste)
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges

Instructions

  • Preheat your griddle to medium heat. Add 2 tablespoons of the butter and tortellini. Squirt some water and cover with a melting dome for 5 minutes. Remove the dome a few times to mix with spatulas and add more water before covering again.
  • Set melting dome aside. Add remaining butter to empty space on griddle. Once melted add shrimp and season both the shrimp and tortellini with kosher salt, pepper, and any seasoning blends that you love.
  • Cook 2 to 3 minutes, mixing the shrimp and tortellini, keeping them separate. Then mix them together and add the hot honey, buffalo sauce, and ranch dressing (amount depends on your preference, you can always add more of any of them if needed).
  • Mix together with spatulas and cook 2 to 3 more minutes. Squeeze 2 of the lemon wedges over top and mix together right before serving. Serve with more of the buffalo sauce and ranch drizzled over top with the remaining lemon wedges.
