Blackstone Surf and Turf Tortellini

Blackstone Surf and Turf Tortellini

It was a date night in with my husband, cooking Blackstone Surf and Turf Tortellini together was fun, delicious, and soooooo much cheaper making our steak and lobster at home on the griddle.

We kept this recipe simple with really just a few ingredients.

After all, date night is alllll about enjoying your time together and too many steps and ingredients would not be fun.

How to make Blackstone Surf and Turf Tortellini

First prep your ingredients and put them on a tray.

We had cheese tortellini, a pound each of steak and lobster, pesto, and heavy cream.

You can tell we started out in full fun mode 🙂

Preheat the griddle to medium and add the tortellini down first.

Squirt some water on the tortellini and cover with a melting dome.

It will cook for 4 minutes total but remove the dome a few times to mix the pasta and add more water before covering again.

Next add some cooking oil of choice, the steak, kosher salt, and pepper.

Cook and mix together for 2 minutes.

Since it was date night, we each took a spatula to work together.

Then add the lobster with a little more kosher salt and pepper.
