Blackstone Nashville Hot Chicken Bites
Blackstone Nashville Hot Chicken Bites is a simple, yet spicy, recipe for the griddle with only 4 ingredients.
That is, if you count the olive oil, kosher salt, and pepper as “freebie” ingredients.
Nashville Hot chicken is served with pickle chips, so I am brining the chicken in pickle juice along with the Nashville Hot seasoning blend and garlic.
You can enjoy these just as they are for a low carb, healthy, Keto friendly meal.
Or use them to top a salad or in tacos or wraps.
How to make Blackstone Nashville Hot Chicken Bites
First cut 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs into bite size pieces.
You could certainly use chicken breasts instead, but I much prefer the thighs.
Put the chicken into a bowl, or into a gallon size plastic bag for mess free marinating.
Then add 3 tablespoons pickle juice, some olive oil, minced garlic, and 2 to 3 tablespoons of the Nashville Hot seasoning.
Also some kosher salt and pepper.
Mix it all together until the chicken is evenly coated and marinate in the fridge for a few hours.
If camping, I recommend doing this part at home, and just bring the bag of seasoned chicken with you to cook at your campsite.
Preheat your griddle or flat top grill to medium heat for a few minutes.
Then add some cooking oil of choice along with the spicy chicken bites.
Cook them for 7 to 9 minutes, mixing together with hibachi spatulas a few times.
Blackstone Nashville Hot Chicken Bites are just as flavorful as they look 🙂
Pretty spicy, but not overwhelming.
We used ours two ways… one dinner to top our Caesar salads (store bought salad kit to make it super simple).
And another night we made chicken wraps with lettuce, cheese, and ranch dressing.
