Blackstone Steak and Corn Naan Tacos
Oh man, have I got an incredible griddle recipe for you today, friends… these Blackstone Steak and Corn Naan Tacos have all of my favorite things!
Steak is a given, like ya kinda can’t go wrong with steak.
A light and fresh corn relish with a little pop of texture and a slight sweetness.
But let me just say, this mini naan bread may be my new go-to for tacos!
How to make Blackstone Steak and Corn Naan Tacos
For the steak, I am using a pre seasoned skirt steak, which is perfect for tacos (flank steak would be a good substitution).
If yours does not come pre seasoned, just add a little kosher salt, pepper, and taco or fajita seasoning.
I also have some corn on the cob, jalapenos, onion, cilantro, lime, and garlic along with my new best friend ingredient… the mini naan bread!
First cut the kernels off the corn and dice half of the red onion and jalapenos.
Then mince the garlic and chop the cilantro.
Put the rest of the ingredients on a tray to easily carry out to your griddle or flat top grill.
Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium heat for a few minutes.
Then add some cooking oil (I use olive oil) and the veggie mix along with some kosher salt, pepper, and taco or fajita seasoning.
Cook this for 4 to 5 minutes, mixing together with hibachi spatulas a few times.
Add the garlic to the corn, a little more oil to the griddle, and the steak.
Cook the steak just about 3 minutes per side for a medium rare to medium doneness.
And mix the corn together a few more times too.
Some skirt steaks are pretty thin, mine was an inch thick.
So if you have a thinner steak it may be done in less time.
Finally add some cilantro and lime juice to the corn and mix together.
And place the mini naan on the griddle for a minute to warm them up.
Slice the steak against the grain and you can start assembling your tacos!
I added sour cream, cheese, and fresh cilantro to my Blackstone Steak and Corn Naan Tacos 🙂
Oh, and some hot sauce too!
Avocado would be a great addition as well.
The great thing about the mini naan tacos, is you can stuff them pretty full of all that yummy steak and corn relish!
