Blackstone Fireball Chicken Wings
I have made a few chicken wing recipes on the griddle, but none as unique and fun as these Blackstone Fireball Chicken Wings!
An easy to make Fireball Whiskey buffalo sauce and the dry Fireball seasoning really brings a great flavor to these easy to make griddled chicken wings.
If you don’t have this Fireball seasoning, you can use any seasoning blend of choice.
But it’s soooo flavorful and also highly recommended on pork chops.
You can buy the Fireball Whiskey seasoning blend from Amazon HERE!
How to make Blackstone Fireball Chicken Wings
First use paper towels to pat dry 3 pounds of jumbo split chicken wings and put them in a bowl.
Then add some olive oil, kosher salt, pepper, and a few tablespoons of the Fireball seasoning (or another seasoning blend that you like).
Toss the wings until evenly coated and set them aside.
For the buffalo sauce with Fireball flare, start with a cup of your favorite wing sauce in a saucepan.
Then add 1/3 cup of the Fireball, 2 tablespoons honey, and a teaspoon of cinnamon.
Bring this to a boil just for a minute or two, stirring a few times.
Next preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium high heat for a few minutes.
Add the chicken wings and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side.
I found that tongs were the easiest tool to flip them rather than the hibachi spatulas that I usually use with my griddle.
Then cover the wings with a large melting dome for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
You should see a nice char on the skin, and the internal temperature should be above 165 degrees.
If you want more char or crispiness on the skin, just cook them a bit longer.
Toss your Blackstone Fireball Chicken Wings in the sauce right before serving 🙂
A little sweet, a little spicy, and a whole lot of fun!!

Blackstone Fireball Chicken Wings
Equipment
- Blackstone Griddle
- Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
Ingredients
- 3 pounds jumbo split chicken wings
- 2 to 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 to 3 tablespoons Fireball Whiskey seasoning (link to buy in post above or just use your favorite seasoning blend)
- kosher salt, pepper
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce
- 1/3 cup Fireball Whiskey
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Pat the wings dry very well and put them in a bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over top and season with the Fireball seasoning (or seasoning blend of choice), kosher salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
- Put the buffalo wing sauce in a small saucepan along with the Fireball Whiskey, honey, and cinnamon. Bring to boil for a minute or two, stirring a few times, and then remove from heat.
- Preheat the griddle to medium high heat for a few minutes. Place the wings in a single layer on the griddle and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side.
- Lower the heat to medium low and cover the wings with a 9×13 foil pan or large melting dome. Cook 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through (be careful when removing the foil pan when flipping as it will be hot). Make sure the wings have an internal temperature above 165 degrees.
- Put the wings in a bowl with the Fireball buffalo sauce, toss until coated and serve. Or you could just toss them in the sauce right on the griddle.
