Blackstone Chili Cheese Dog Skewers
I’m from Cincinnati where Skyline chili is it’s own food group, these Blackstone Chili Cheese Dog Skewers were the perfect game day snack to watch our Cincinnati Reds play some ball!
And my sweet granddaugher helped me make them!
How to make Blackstone Chili Cheese Dog Skewers
First skewer some mini corn dogs that have been thawed onto corn dog sticks.
Then preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium heat.
And add some cooking oil and the skewers.

Flip them a few times and cook until the outside is a little crisp and golden brown.

I added some yellow mustard to mine.
Then add some chili of choice… we went with Skyline Cincinnati style chili, but I did strain a little liquid out first to make it a little thicker.

Next comes the cheesy goodness!

Cover with a melting dome until the cheese is melted and add toppings of choice.
I went with Skyline hot sauce and some crushed oyster crackers.

Blackstone Chili Cheese Dog Skewers are the perfect hand held game day snack or a fun and easy dinner idea!

Blackstone Chili Cheese Dog Skewers
Equipment
- Blackstone Griddle
- Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
Ingredients
- 24 frozen mini corn dogs thawed
- 8 corn dog sticks (these thicker sticks make it easier to stay put compared to kabob skewers)
- cooking oil of choice
- yellow mustard (optional)
- 1 1/4 cups chili (if using Cincinnati style chili strain just some of the liquid out so it's thicker)
- 1 1/4 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: onions, hot sauce, crushed oyster crackers
Instructions
- Put three corn dogs onto each corn dog stick.
- Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium heat, add some cooking oil and the corn dog skewers. Cook 6 to 7 minutes, flipping a few times.
- Drizzle yellow mustard on the corn dogs if desired, then spoon some chili over each one and add cheese as well. Cover with a melting dome or griddle lid until cheese is melted.
- Remove and add toppings of choice such as onion, hot sauce, and/or crushed crackers if desired. This is a fun hand held meal or snack, perfect for game day!
