
Easy Blackstone Chicken Gyros
Sometimes we need simple griddle meals with no fuss, especially while camping or after a busy workday. I’ve got ya covered with this Easy Blackstone Chicken Gyros recipe!
Basically, the only work here is cutting up 1 1/2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs or chicken breasts.
When we camp, I do this part at home and store the chicken in a plastic ziploc bag.

How to make Easy Blackstone Chicken Gyros
Preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to meduim heat.
Add some cooking oil of choice, the chicken, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.

Also, a pint of cherry or grape tomatoes.

Not everyone in my family likes the tomatoes, but hey… that’s just more for me 😉

Cook this for about 5 minutes, mixing with spatulas a few times.
Then add some lemon pepper seasoning, paprika, oregano, and garlic powder… just about a teaspoon of each.

Continue cooking and mixing it all together for about another 5 minutes.
During the last minute put some mini naan flatbreads on the griddle to warm them.

Then assemble in the mini naan bread… or let your family make their own!

I topped mine with tzatziki (just the store-bought stuff) along with shredded lettuce and feta cheese crumbles.

I think I for sure delivered on my promise of EASY Blackstone Chicken Gyros 🙂
But in all my talk of how quick and simple this griddle meal is, I failed to mention how DELICIOUS these are!
And really no need to even get out plates for these handheld packages of yumminess.

Easy Blackstone Chicken Gyros
Equipment
- Blackstone Griddle
- Flat Top Grill/ Griddle
Ingredients
- cooking oil of choice
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs (or chicken breasts) cut into bite size pieces
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- kosher salt, pepper, crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 (4-pack) bags mini naan bread
- 1/2 cup tzatziki
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta
Instructions
- Preheat griddle to medium. Add cooking oil of choice, chicken, tomatoes, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes. Cook 5 minutes, mixing with spatulas.
- Add lemon pepper seasoning, oregano, paprika, and garlic powder. Cook 5 more minutes, mixing a few times.
- During the last minute, add naan bread to empty space on griddle to warm and toast them.
- Assemble gyros in the naan bread with some chicken and tomatoes, tzatziki, lettuce, and feta cheese.
