Traeger Italian Sub Roll Ups
Traeger Italian sub roll ups are an easy to make weeknight dinner or appetizer recipe!
They are Crescent rolls stuffed with everything yummy that you would find in an Italian sub.
Easy enough that the kids can help!
And when cooking them on the Traeger you get that slight hint of smokiness.
How to make Traeger Italian sub roll ups
You can mix up any filling that you would like… but I went with ham, salami, pepperoni, and a half of a string cheese.
First, open the package of Crescent rolls and separate the triangle dough pieces.
Then in the center of each, place a slice of salami, two slices of pepperoni, a slice of ham, and half of a string cheese.
Next roll them up and place on a baking sheet.
The final step before baking is brushing the top with melted butter that has been mixed with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
Set the Traeger pellet grill to 325 degrees.
Then place the baking sheet with the roll ups on the grill grate for 23 to 26 minutes.
Just keep an eye on them during the last few minutes and remove once the Crescent roll is done how you prefer.
Some of our string cheese melted out onto the baking sheet, it was an added snack bonus with the crispy cheese!
Serve Traeger Italian sub roll ups with pizza sauce for dipping and banana peppers for a little spicy crunch!
These were a very simple weeknight dinner to make.
We had them with a side of air fryer asparagus and sliced apples for an easy-peasy complete mom and kid friendly meal!
