Blackstone Salmon Burgers with Avocado Sauce
Blackstone Salmon Burgers with Avocado Sauce is a great griddle recipe that is also healthy, these are such an easy dinner idea!
The delicate burgers are amazing to make on the griddle, they get the absolute perfect sear every time.
Plus it’s always a bonus making seafood outside instead of indoors where the aroma can be trapped.
How to make Blackstone salmon burgers with avocado sauce
Cut 1 pound of salmon into 2 inch pieces and put them in a food processor.
Pulse a few times so the salmon comes together but is not completely smooth.
And if your salmon has skin, simply remove the skin before putting in the food processor.
Put the salmon in a bowl along with sliced green onions, bread crumbs, egg, garlic, kosher salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning.
Then gently combine with your hands and form into 4 burger patties.
Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium low for several minutes.
Add some cooking oil of choice and the 4 salmon burgers.
Cook the salmon burgers 4 to 5 minutes per side on the griddle.
And make sure to be gentle when handling them as they are rather delicate.
And for the sauce… put some sour cream or plain Greek yogurt, avocado, lime juice, kosher salt, and pepper in a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth.
Serve Blackstone salmon burgers with avocado sauce on buns with any toppings you prefer 🙂
I went pretty simple and just added some shredded lettuce.
The avocado sauce paired with the flavor of the salmon burger was incredible!

Ingredients
- 1 pound salmon skin removed
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 3 to 4 cloves garlic minced
- kosher salt, pepper, Old Bay seasoning
- cooking oil of choice
- 6 oz sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
- 1 avocado
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, onion
