Blackstone Blackened Catfish Sandwiches

Blackstone Blackened Catfish Sandwiches

I try to keep at least most of my recipes easy and simple to cook at home… And that is certainly the case with these Blackstone Blackened Catfish Sandwiches.

A very simple blackened or Cajun seasoning blend is all that is needed along with a little kosher salt and pepper.

I even used a store bought remoulade sauce instead of making my own, just to keep with the theme of simplicity.

But hey, if you’re feeling extra fancy feel free to make your own blackening seasoning and/or sauce to put on these sandwiches.

How to make Blackstone Blackened Catfish Sandwiches

First pat 4 catfish fillets dry very well with paper towels.

Then season both sides with a store bought blackening or Cajun seasoning along with kosher salt and pepper.

Next preheat the griddle to medium low for several minutes.

Once hot, add some cooking oil of choice along with the seasoned catfish.

The catfish will cook 8 to 10 minutes total, flipping a few times.

I made some Lemon Parmesan Broccolini on the griddle at the same time for a side dish.

Just take a look at that perfectly cooked catfish!

This could be a dinner just by itself even without being served as sandwiches for a low carb or Keto option.

This is the store bought remoulade sauce that I used, but any mayo, spicy mayo, or even tartar sauce would be perfectly perfect!

I did toast the buns on the griddle for just about a minute, but that step is optional.

To serve, place each catfish fillet on the bun and top with whatever sauce you prefer and any other toppings such as lettuce or pickle.

In my opinion these Blackstone Blackened Catfish Sandwiches look insanely mouthwatering!

I served these with a side of broccolini to remain on the healthier side.

But some frozen french fries or tater tots cooked in the oven or air fryer would make this a winner winner fish and chips dinner.
