Blackstone Old Bay Chicken Wings

Blackstone Old Bay Chicken Wings

These Blackstone Old Bay Chicken Wings are a simple griddle recipe!

Who knew wings could be so darn good on the griddle?!

A great dinner, camping, or game day snack recipe for your Blackstone or flat top grill with just FIVE ingredients.

The wings get a nice, crisp char and extra flavor thanks to the seasoned griddle đŸ™‚

How to make Blackstone Old Bay Chicken Wings

Old Bay seasoning is one of those magical ingredients that packs so much flavor, not much else is needed.

It pairs perfectly with lemon so I had to include that too!

ingredients for the wings

First put 3 pounds of jumbo split chicken wings in a bowl and pat them dry with paper towels.

Then add some olive oil, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning.

And toss until evenly coated.

seasoned wings before putting on the griddle

Preheat your griddle to medium high heat for a few minutes.

And place the wings in a single layer.

They will cook on medium high for about 5 minutes, flipping with tongs halfway though.

Then lower the heat to medium low and cover them with a 9×13 foil pan or a large melting dome.

Mine fit perfectly under my melting dome when I smooshed them all together.

They will cook 10 to 15 minutes under the pan or melting dome, flipping halfway through.

If you are using the foil pan, be careful as it will be hot!

Once they reach an internal temperature above 165 degrees, add some butter to the griddle.

And use tongs to toss them in the butter right on the griddle.

Sprinkle a little more Old Bay over top and serve Blackstone Old Bay Chicken Wings with lemon wedges on the side.

We liked to squeeze a little extra lemon juice over top as we devoured these for our dinner.

You could toss them in some wing sauce of course, but I loved the simplicity of the lightly seasoned wings.
