Blackstone Steak with Corn Relish
Not much beats a steak dinner made at home on your grill or griddle, and this recipe for Blackstone Steak with Corn Relish is one of the best!
Simple flavors and ingredients, but extra special thanks to the fresh corn and jalapeno topping.
I am using pre seasoned skirt steak, but flank steak works too.
How to make Blackstone Steak with Corn Relish
First put 2 pounds of your steak of choice onto a tray along with the other ingredients to easily carry out to the griddle or flat top grill.
Cut the kernels off of 3 to 4 ears corn on the cob, dice half of a red onion, and dice a few jalapenos.
Then mince some garlic, chop your cilantro, and add some lime wedges to the tray.
Preheat the griddle or flat top grill to medium heat for a few minutes.
Then add some cooking oil of choice (I used olive oil) and the veggies, kosher salt, pepper, and fajita or taco seasoning.
And cook this on the griddle for 4 to 5 minutes.
Add some minced garlic to the corn relish.
Then add more cooking oil to an empty side of the griddle and add your steak.
Mine was already seasoned, but if yours is not just season both sides with kosher salt, pepper, and the fajita or taco seasoning.
Cook the steak about 3 minutes per side for medium rare/ medium temperature, this will also depend on how thick the steak is.
And continue mixing the corn relish together a few times.
Finally add some cilantro and lime juice to the corn, mix together, and dinner is done!
A gorgeous, fresh dinner all on the Blackstone griddle is a beautiful sight.
Blackstone Steak with Corn Relish looks like an impressive dinner, yet it’s sooooo easy!
Slice the steak against the grain and serve the corn relish over top.
We had some leftovers of both that I threw on a store bought salad kit for dinner the next night, two dinners in one is always a plus!
