Blackstone Cheesy Bacon Asparagus
I made a complete meal on the griddle of Blackstone Maple Dijon Salmon and this easy side dish, Blackstone Cheesy Bacon Asparagus.
My parents came over and I always like to spoil them with amazing food.
And this meal did just that 🙂
I even made Smoked Caramel Apple Dip for dessert… you know, just my attempt at becoming the favorite child 😉
How to make Blackstone Cheesy Bacon Asparagus
The salmon and asparagus have similar cook times, so they paired perfectly.
Just a pound of asparagus and a few slices of bacon is all you need to start.
I used my kitchen scissors to cut the bacon into bite size pieces.

Then preheat the griddle or flat top grill to medium low heat for a few minutes.
Add the bacon first and cook for just a minute.
Turn or flip them with hibachi spatulas a few times.
Then scoot some of the bacon grease over and add the asparagus.
And season lightly with kosher salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Cook the asparagus and bacon for 7 to 8 minutes, continuing to turn them both a few times.

As you can see, the salmon cooked right alongside of the asaparagus.

Add about a cup of mozzarella cheese and the bacon on top of the asparagus.
You can turn the griddle off while the cheese melts if you’d like.
Blackstone Cheesy Bacon Asparagus sure is an incredible side dish on the griddle!
