Blackstone Maple Dijon Salmon
A healthy dinner recipe on the griddle that puts off some fall vibes (thanks to the maple) is a great description of Blackstone Maple Dijon Salmon 🙂
Just a few ingredients for the marinade and sauce is really all salmon needs.
We don’t want to overwhelm the salmon itself, just compliment it with some simple flavors.
How to make Blackstone Maple Dijon Salmon
First we are starting with 4 absolutely gorgeous salmon fillets.
Then mix together Dijon mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, soy sauce, kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl.
I added some fresh chopped rosemary, but that’s optional.
Set a few spoonfuls aside to use as a dipping sauce.
And brush a little more on the salmon fillet.
Then season with kosher salt and pepper.
Preheat the griddle or flat top grill to medium low heat for a few minutes.
Once hot add some cooking oil of choice and the salmon fillets.
I like to start mine skin side up, but you do whatever you prefer.
Cook the salmon for 7 to 9 minutes total, flipping a time or two.
Brush with more of the maple Dijon sauce too.
I made some asparagus for a complete griddle meal.
The asparagus cooks at the same time, simply seasoned with kosher salt and pepper.
Serve Blackstone Maple Dijon Salmon with the extra sauce for dipping 🙂
Slightly sweet mixed with a little savory makes for the perfect flavor combo!
