Blackstone Griddle Shrimp Boil
I can totally understand if you’re questioning how I can make a Blackstone Griddle Shrimp Boil recipe when clearly there is no boiling involved đŸ˜‰
It’s basically everything you’d typically find in a shrimp boil, but cooked on the griddle.
Seriously one of my favorite meals and cooking it on the griddle gave some extra flavor and was so fun to make outside on the patio.
We ate outside as well with some garlic bread, lemon wedges, and an Old Bay dipping sauce.
How to Make Blackstone Griddle Shrimp Boil
I have a pound of shrimp that have been deveined, but not peeled.
Leaving the peels on makes them more flavorful and also adds to the experience peeling them at dinner.
Also corn, sausage, lemon, butter, Old Bay, and potatoes.
These potatoes were gifted to me from a friend’s garden, they are purple and gold fingerling potatoes.
But any petite potato will work.
Boil the potatoes for a few minutes and then cut them in half.
And cut the corn into thirds or in half depending on the size.
Then put everything on a tray and head out to the griddle.
Preheat the griddle to medium heat and once hot add some of the butter, the corn, and potatoes.
Cook the corn and potatoes for about 6 to 8 minutes, turning a few times.
Next add the rest of the butter, shrimp, sausage, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning to the griddle and cook 3 to 4 more minutes.
Flip and turn everything a few times with hibachi spatulas.
Then use the spatulas to transfer the shrimp boil to a tray.
Serve Blackstone Griddle Shrimp Boil with Old Bay Aioli or a garlic butter dipping sauce đŸ™‚
I made the Old Bay sauce by combining mayo, lemon juice, Old Bay, and hot sauce.
You can sprinkle a little more Old Bay over top and also add some chives or parsley for garnish.
Such a fun dinner that’s perfect for a fun night on the patio!
