Traeger Turkey with Cajun Cream Sauce

Traeger Turkey with Cajun Cream Sauce

Traeger Turkey with Cajun cream sauce is a holiday worthy meal, but also comes together in just minutes for an easy weeknight recipe!

This would be a great option for a Thanksgiving dinner if you had a small crowd.

Turkey breast tenderloins are so juicy and when cooking them on the pellet grill they get a slight kiss of wood fired flavor.

And this Cajun cream sauce can be served over just about anything, heck it’s even great if you eat it with a spoon!

Ingredients for the Turkey and sauce

How to make Traeger Turkey with Cajun cream sauce

First take the turkey breast tenderloins out of the bag.

Then season both sides with your favorite Cajun seasoning blend, kosher salt, and pepper.

Seasoned Turkey breasts before cooking

Preheat your pellet grill to 400 degrees and place the seasoned turkey breasts on the grill grate.

These will cook about 20 to 25 minutes, flipping them halfway through.

Just check with the instant read thermometer to make sure that they are above 165 degrees.

Cooked Turkey on the pellet grill

While the turkey rests let’s make some Cajun cream sauce!

First set a skillet over high heat.

Then add 2 tablespoons butter, 1 1/4 cup heavy cream, a tablespoon each of Dijon mustard and garlic paste, and of course more Cajun seasoning.

When this comes to a boil reduce the heat to medium low and cook for about 5 minutes stirring a few times.

As it cooks it will reduce and thicken.
