Blackstone Peppers and Green Beans
Blackstone Peppers and Green Beans is such an easy side dish recipe made on the griddle!
No fancy schmancy ingredients here… just the veggies along with a seasoning blend of choice and some garlic.
And heck, I even went the extra lazy route and used garlic paste instead of minced garlic.
This is perfect to make on the griddle at the same time of any protein of choice for a complete meal made all at once.
How to make Blackstone Peppers and Green Beans
First trim the ends off of the green beans if needed and slice 2 red bell peppers and place them on a tray.
Also some cooking oil of choice, I went with avocado oil.
Along with kosher salt, pepper, a seasoning blend of your choice, and some garlic.
By putting everything on the tray you will only have one trip in and one trip out to the griddle outside.
Preheat the griddle to medium heat for several minutes.
Then add your cooking oil of choice along with the trimmed green beans and sliced red peppers.
And season with kosher salt, pepper, and your seasoning blend of choice.
Cook the peppers and green beans for 7 to 8 minutes turning and flipping a few times with your hibachi spatulas.
And if you have a melting dome, scooch the veggies together and leave under the melting dome for a few minutes.
This is not needed, but will help to steam them and increase the cooking time.
Next add some garlic or garlic paste and cook the veggies for just a few more minutes.
Taste toward the end to make sure they are done how you prefer.
And add more kosher salt, pepper, and/or seasoning blend if needed.
Hopefully you agree that I delivered on my promise of an easy and delicious side dish with these Blackstone Peppers and Green Beans!
You could serve the side dish just the way it is.
Or add some crumbled feta or crumbled get cheese if desired.
My grill lives right next door to my Blackstone Griddle… so I grilled a pork tenderloin for a complete easy and healthy dinner.
