Grilled Tequila Glazed Chicken
This recipe for Grilled Tequila Glazed Chicken is far from boring like most grilled chicken recipes.
Taco seasoned chicken served with a flavor packed glaze with tequila, orange, and lime!
It’s pretty easy to make, and you can use chicken breasts or boneless, skinless chicken thighs.
How to make Grilled Tequila Glazed Chicken
First put either 4 chicken breasts or 6 chicken thighs in a gallon size plastic bag for easy, mess free marinating.
Then add 2 tablespoons taco seasoning blend, kosher salt, pepper, and olive oil.
Massage the bag until evenly mixed and marinate in the fridge for about an hour.
Or you can leave it marinate for several hours if you have the time.

Next let’s make the tequila glaze.
Just put a cup of tequila in a saucepan along with 3/4 cup honey, some lime and orange juice and zest, kosher salt, pepper, a few dashes hot sauce, and another tablespoon of taco seasoning.
Bring this to a boil and then reduce the heat to medium low and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring a few times.

Then preheat your grill to medium heat for a few minutes.
And grill the chicken 10 to 12 minutes total, flipping a few times.

Brush some of the tequila glaze on the chicken a few times during the last half of cooking.

Serve Grilled Tequila Glazed Chicken with the rest of the glaze on the side for dipping 🙂

This sure is a party of a winner winner chicken dinner!
