Blackstone Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts
Blackstone Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts is such an easy and yummy side dish recipe for the griddle with some sweet and spicy Asian flare.
This recipe feeds four as a vegetable side dish, but I could darn near eat the whole thing as a meal!
Yes, it’s THAT good 🙂
This recipe was inspired by my daughter and her friend as they described a brussel spout side dish they had at a restaurant.
How to make Blackstone Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts
First prepare your ingredients and put them on a tray to carry out to the griddle.
Dice an onion, mince some garlic, and thinly slice or shave a pound of brussel sprouts.
An optional ingredient is grated ginger, I happened to have some so I added it.
Also include some sesame seeds and the sauce is just honey, soy sauce, and sriracha.
Then head out to your Blackstone or flat top griddle and preheat to medium for a few minutes.
First add some cooking oil of choice along with the onion, brussels, kosher salt, and pepper.
Cook this for 6 to 7 minutes, flipping and mixing a few times with your hibachi spatulas.
Next add the minced garlic, and also the ginger if using.
Cook another minute or two then add the mix of honey, soy sauce, and sriracha.
Finally use the hibachi spatulas to mix it all together, cooking another minute or so.
Top your Blackstone Honey Sriracha Brussel Sprouts with sesame seeds and also chopped peanuts if desired 🙂
The chopped peanuts are highly recommended!
You’ll be surprised how much the brussels cook down after adding the sauce.
But a little goes a long way they are so packed full of flavor!
