Blackstone Chocolate Dirt Cake
Blackstone Chocolate Dirt Cake got a BIG thumbs up from my grandson!
I mean, what a fun griddle dessert recipe even topped with gummy worms 🙂

How to make Blackstone Chocolate Dirt Cake
We made this on a random Monday, just because we wanted a fun and tasty, sweet treat.
But this would really be the BEST camping dessert since it’s so easy to make.

First prepare the cake batter according to package directions.
Mine required 3 eggs, some vegetable oil, and water… but I always use milk instead of water.
Either beat with a hand mixer or a spoon until combined.

Then preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium low heat.
Melt some butter and pour the cake batter right on the griddle.
I know, I know… looks like a huge mess right now.

Use your spatulas to mix and scramble the cake batter for 4 to 6 minutes.

It will slowly start cooking and form cake crumbles.

See… perfect scrambled cake that resembles dirt for this fun dessert!

Spread 4 individual cups of chocolate pudding in a 9×13 casserole dish.

Then top with the chocolate cake crumbles.

Add the gummy worms over top to go along with the “dirt” theme!

Blackstone Chocolate Dirt Cake was highly approved by the fam, especially the kids 🙂

Although they did question me when I told them it was called dirt cake, and we had quite a few laughs.
