Traeger Honey Chipotle Pumpkin Seeds
When carving Halloween pumpkins, making smoked pumpkin seeds is a must! This sweet and spicy version of Traeger Honey Chipotle Pumpkin Seeds are incredible.
An easy pellet grill recipe that you can mix up with any seasoning blend you like.
We went to the pumpkin patch and my son carved this monstrous 25 pound pumpkin so we got quite a few seeds.

How to make Traeger Honey Chipotle Pumpkin Seeds
First soak the seeds in water for a little bit to clean them
Then lay them flat on a tray and let them dry overnight.
I actually recommend NOT leaving the paper towel underneath because some of mine stuck.

Next transfer them to a 9×13 foil pan or a baking sheet works too.
Drizzle some olive oil over top and add your honey chipotle seasoning blend to taste.

Or use any seasoning blend you you like.
Also some kosher salt.

Toss until the pumpkin seeds are evenly coated and head to your Traeger or pellet grill.

First set the Traeger to the smoke setting at 180 degrees.
And let them hang out for about 20 minutes to soak in some smoky flavor.
Then crank the heat to 350 degrees and cook another 20 to 30 minutes.

Toss them a few times and remove once they are toasted how you prefer.

Let Traeger Honey Chipotle Pumpkin Seeds cool slightly before serving 🙂

They are so crunchy, super flavorful, and highly addicting.
Not to mention a pretty healthy snack 🙂
