Blackstone Halloween Oreo Cakes
Making some new and unique dessert recipes on the griddle has been so fun! Since tomorrow is the first day of October, I decided to make some Blackstone Halloween Oreo Cakes.
Even got the Spooky Halloween Boo Oreos and festive sprinkles.
You will need some silicone egg rings for the cakes as well.
You can get the Silicone Egg Rings and the Spooky Halloween Sprinkles from Amazon 🙂
How to make Blackstone Halloween Oreo Cakes
First make your cake batter according to the package directions.
I went with Devil’s food since it fit nicely with the spooky theme.
If you have a homemade cake batter, use that instead.
I was looking for super simple so I went with the cake mix.
Then heat your griddle to the absolute lowest setting.
Place the egg rings on the flat top, spray well with nonstick spray, and fill the rings half full with the cake batter.
Next place an Oreo in the center of each, pressing down on them.
Cover with a lid or melting dome for 12 to 14 minutes.
Keep an eye on them as Blackstone temperatures can vary.
They will rise as they cook, but the egg rings are very easy to remove.
Just gently lift up, rocking back and forth if needed.
See… perfect circles is what you get!
Let them cool completely before spreading the chocolate frosting and adding the sprinkles.
These Blackstone Halloween Oreo Cakes did not last long at our house 🙂
We did share of course.
Brought a few to my parent’s house, gave one to my niece, my daughter and her friends, and did a drop off at my other daughter’s house for my grandson.
They made everyone’s day I think!
