Blackstone BBQ Pork Belly
Blackstone BBQ Pork Belly is a simple recipe that starts in the smoker, pellet grill, or oven and then seared and charred to perfection on the griddle!
You can enjoy this tender pork belly as is, use it on sandwiches with extra BBQ sauce, or dice it for an epic BBQ pork belly taco!
How to make Blackstone BBQ Pork Belly
Start with 8 slices of pork belly, about 3/4 inch thick.
And season them well on all sides with your favorite BBQ seasoning blend.

First stop is the smoker or pellet grill at 250 degrees for 3 hours… or on a baking sheet in a 250 degree oven works if you don’t have a smoker.

Flipping them halfway through.

After three hours we are headed to your Blackstone or flat top griddle preheated to medium high.

Add cooking oil of choice and cook the pork belly slices for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes per side.
Brush with your favorite BBQ sauce during the last 45 minutes.

Those charred bits on Blackstone BBQ Pork Belly is exactly what you want to see, in my opinion the more char the better!

That gorgeous char really does make all the difference, and I love how you show me how to achieve it in the most effortless way possible. I also appreciated your oven tip for those days I don’t have the smoker handy. But of course… the smoker is the absolute best way to go. The flavor is unmatched!
