Blackstone Griddle Burg-itos

Blackstone Griddle Burg-itos

Blackstone Griddle Burg-itos is a dinner recipe for a fun griddle creation… we are combining everything yummy in a burger but served as a monster burrito!

I cannot take credit for this masterpiece, my 10-year old nephew, Jackson, came up with the amazing idea and called to tell me about it… he even gave it the fun name 🙂

Of course, Aunt Cheri had to make his vision a reality and he was very impressed!

I even topped ours with my High Protein Burger Sauce and used low carb tortillas.

How to make Blackstone Griddle Burg-itos

Preheat your Blackstone or flat top griddle to medium.

Add 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef and cook it for 1 to 2 minutes, mixing and breaking it apart with spatulas.

Then add plenty of your favorite burger seasoning, some Worcestershire sauce, and cook for 5 to 7 more minutes.

Taste for seasoning and add more burger seasoning as needed.

Turn your griddle off while you assemble the burritos, and scrape it clean if needed.

Lay four large burrito size flour tortillas flat, add 2 slices of American cheese to the center of each, then the burger meat, some burger sauce (I used my High Protein Burger Sauce) and some shredded cheese of choice.

You could also add more American cheese instead of the shredded, but I wanted to add some of our favorite shredded cheese.

Roll each up tightly, folding the sides in.

Turn the griddle back on over medium low heat.

Add some cooking oil of choice and place the burritos seam side down.

Cook them for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until tortillas are crisped to your liking.
