Traeger Margherita Pizzas
I had some garden fresh tomatoes, and one recipe I made with them were these incredible Traeger Margherita Pizzas!
They were super easy thanks to the Stonefire Naan Flatbreads that I used for the crust.
Margherita pizzas were named after a queen in Italy who wanted a pizza made with the colors of the Italian flag.
Not at all the same as the margarita cocktail, but hey you could have that to drink with these pizzas if you want 🙂
How to make Traeger Margherita Pizzas
First, brush some olive oil on 2 Stonefire Naan Flatbreads.
And a few cloves of freshly minced garlic as well.
Then slice some fresh mozzarella cheese and place the slices on the naan breads.
Finally dice two medium size tomatoes and sprinkle those over top as well.
Season with kosher salt and pepper and we can head to the Traeger!
Set your Traeger pellet grill to 350 degrees.
And place the pizzas right on the grill grates.
The pizzas will cook on the Traeger for 12 to 15 minutes.
Just remove them once the cheese is melted and the flatbreads are crisped how you prefer.
Then sprinkle some fresh sliced basil over top and dinner is done!
Traeger Margherita Pizzas are just as gorgeous as they are fresh and delicious!
A perfect, light vegetarian dinner or meatless Monday meal 🙂
Or you could slice them up and serve as an appetizer.
One of my favorite ways to use all the garden tomatoes I have growing!
