Griddle Lemon Pepper Wings
Griddle Lemon Pepper Wings are so bright and flavorful, plus I just love making chicken wings on the Blackstone flat top grill!
These have a simple seasoning and marinade and really don’t even need a sauce.
An easy low carb dinner on the griddle, a fun camping snack, or perfect for game day.
How to make Griddle Lemon Pepper Wings
First put 3 pounds of jumbo split chicken wings into either a bowl or a gallon size plastic bag.
Then add 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice.
And 2 tablespoons each of soy sauce and lemon pepper seasoning.
Also some kosher salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes.
Toss them all together and marinate in the fridge if possible.
Then preheat the Blackstone griddle or flat top grill to medium high heat for a few minutes.
Add some cooking oil of choice and place the wings in a single layer on the griddle and cook 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Usually my hibachi spatulas are my favorite griddle cooking tool.
But for wings I much prefer tongs for flipping them.
Next lower the heat to medium low and cover the wings with a 9×13 foil pan or large melting dome.
Cook them for 12 to 15 minutes, flipping halfway through (be careful when removing the foil pan when flipping as it will be hot).
Make sure the wings have an internal temperature above 165 degrees.
Now your Griddle Lemon Pepper Wings are ready to be served 🙂
You could add a sauce if you like, but they are incredible just like this.
